SASHA RAINBOW
Sasha has worked across multiple disciplines including film, art direction, photography and costume.
Her work has been exhibited around the world as part of ASVOFF at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, The Berlin Fashion Film Festival, LSFF and in 2015 she was nominated at the London Music Video Awards for her Electric Bones video. Her latest video for Placebo was nominated for best cinematography at this years UKMVA's and both her Placebo and Wild Beast videos were screened at the prestigious IDFA 2017.
Over the last two years Sasha has been focusing on narrative film to highlight social causes, which has taken her around the world to places such as Ghana, India, Romania and Thailand. She is currently in post-production on her first documentary set in Ghana on one of the world’s biggest electronic waste dumps filmed in late 2016; and has just finished filming her first feature documentary in India. Sasha believes storytelling can throw light onto communities to showcase heroic role models, which she believes is just what the world needs.
